these are some of the lyrics i remember from my ipod today (what a great one to start with and a great one to end on!) as today, sunday, russ and i ran our first 10k race, hills and all ....yeah (this is coming from someone who before the summer, had never ran before!)!

heavenly daddy really found me today with glorious weather, a lovely canadian autumn back drop and perfect running conditions ...a buddy to run the first 5k with ...inspiring song list ...and then how russ once he had finished his race, ran back, found me and then ran the last 1k with me ...encouraging me on to the very end (especially as it was an incredibly steep hill!) ...so inspiring, what a sweet heart :)
it was a season of training and a moment of reaping the rewards ....hmmmmmmmm sometimes we don't see the rewards until that perfect intended time, which at times can feel like hard work or frustrating ...but there is a day when that fruit is seen ...and when the fruit does come, you are ready to receive where god's timing is soooooooooo perfect!
