praying for compassion
for an individual whom I work with
my natural reaction is to be 'older and wiser' and 'on my high horse of "do it right"'.... and thus allowing my stoney cold heart to be shown and not my fleshy compassionate heart that will give people a break, take a moment to see life from their point of view and have and little understanding.

God, i need your eyes... b/c my eyes for this person are only seeing negative things.
c'mon Lois, get off your high horse, get down and serve... in work... the world around you, your everyday, where it counts. wash some feet.
