So, in 2005 my mom, dad, myself and my younger sister went to TACF together. My sister went to the Heart School and I went with my parents to the Leader’s School.
During the end of our time there we had the wonderful opportunity to receive prophetic ministry from Ivan and Isabel Allum. When they prayed over my dad, they ahd a word for him that he had a unique perspective, but this perspective was from God, and He wanted to use my dad to bring a surge in the Church.
Biblical church has been my dad’s passion since he came to the Lord in 1974, and as he prayed about it, he felt the Lord speak to him that he needed to write a book about the things the Lord has shown him regarding what church was meant to be. He felt like this was what God wanted him to do to work towards the fulfillment of Ivan and Isabel’s prophecy.
At first he doubted it. My dad has always hated to write. Before TACF Leader’s School, he would take two hours to write a one sentence email, so most of the time he didn’t bother. During the school when he was asked to journal, he always requested that he use some other way to communicate with God. Because of this, when he first heard the Lord say that he was supposed to write a book, he thought he was going crazy. He asked the rest of my family, expecting us to say that it was a great idea, but one of us should write it instead of him. We surprised him by saying we thought it was a wonderful idea!
Six weeks later he had a six hundred page, one hundred twenty thousand word manuscript that needed to be split into two books, Praise God!
After this, however, there was serious warfare over editing the manuscript. It seemed like there were so many delays and blocks. Dad was getting frustrated.
Last summer, dad received incredible encouragement through the Junction J prayer team. Sarah Delaney had a word for him that our family had access to the library of Heaven. Other words from the prayer team also encouraged all of us to trust God about the timing of releasing the book.
Finally, after one year of intense full-time editing, book one of the Ekklesia Series, Church: What Was God Thinking? is soon to be released. We are now in the process of formatting a Kindle version, and getting the paperback version print ready. It should be on Amazon very very soon!
We are so excited, because we know that there wouldn’t be a book at all without prophetic encouragement, and we truly believe that this is part of our ministry team moving fully into our destiny! Hallelujah!
