The other day I went grocery shopping, and I was in a hire car - it was a Saturday, and I have a hire car on the weekends I go to preach at Mt Brydges.. the hire car place is closed on Sundays, so I get the car Sat and return it Mon.
Anyways, I went to No Frills, a budget supermarket and you have to have 25c for the shopping trolley (cart). Well I normally have 25c in our car, but I wasn't in that, and I had 15c in my wallet. That was it. No notes, just 15c.
Well I prayed, God, help! What do I do? I parked up, and scouted the car park for a trolley, and there was one, but it was one of those ones with a baby seat! Hmmm.. so I went to the place where there trolleys are stored, to see if there was one loose. As I went to the trolleys, this lady came out of the store and says, "here's a trolley for you" to which I replied, thinking that she was just being helpful and wanting my 25c for hers that was in the trolley, "I only have 15c, I am actually just seeing if there is a spare one here", to which she responded, "have this one, this one doesn't need 25c"! So I got my trolley without 25c! Perfect timing for the lady to come out of the store at that exact moment!
A little testimony, but it reminded me that God cares, that he is in the detail! I think it's kinda cool.
